How does this work?

First you choose a unique, memorable link for your podcast. The shorter, the better. You want it to be easy to remember when you read it out to your listeners on-air.

When one of your listeners enters the link on their mobile phone or desktop computer they are presented with a simple list of apps (see a demo) tailored for their device. For example, it only makes sense to show the Apple Podcasts app to listeners visiting from an Apple device.

They choose an app, we explain the steps required to leave a review, then we send them directly to the right place in that app for them to leave a review.

Which podcast apps are supported?

Right now we support Apple Podcasts (previously known as iTunes), Spotify, Podchaser, Castbox and Podcast Addict.

What should I do with my link?

The primary ways that we see shows using to get more reviews are (a) reading out their link on-air at the end of every episode and (b) sharing the link on social media.

Why are there not more apps shown in the list?

Right now we support Apple Podcasts (previously called iTunes), Spotify, Podchaser, Castbox and Podcast Addict. Unfortunately, as far as we know, these are the only mainstream apps that allow listeners to leave ratings, reviews or comments. If you know of another app that should be in this list, please email us and we'll try to add it.

How do I customize the apps shown to my listeners?

If you upgrade your account to one of our paid plans you can customize exactly which apps appear based on the listener's device. For example, you could disable all apps aside from Apple Podcasts if someone is browsing from an Apple device.
